Exciting time before the first issue
So things are winding up soon for the collecting time in our first issue "Unnoticed". There are a few submissions right now, but I'm hoping that a bunch more come in and we get a great first issue. Let your friends know that this collection period is wrapping up, so no one is surprised by the deadline that is approaching.

On Submitting to the Zine
Hello everyone
I wanted to make a post letting people know what I am looking for when I receive a submission for MANY ANY ALL. So the art can look good and people be well represented in this collaborative project, I want to make sure I have a few things known.
-Please make sure your submission is a size that will represent well in print if it is a visual piece. This applies mostly to scanned pieces, which means when digitizing please scan and send things at 300 ppi (pixels per inch). This will ensure that your art looks great when we make the zine available!
-When sending a submission to manyanyall@gmail.com, It is very helpful to me to include the following information so I don't have to track anyone down to ask questions after the fact. I don't want to put any wrong information in the zine and get people frustrated! Please list the title(s) of your piece, your name as you would like to be listed alongside it, and medium of the piece.
-As of now, a lot of people have been asking about size as well. Since this is new and I am not sure what to really set for a limit, I'm saying there is no limit to what you can send. I may contact you as I am creating the zine if you send a large number of pieces, possibly because I may need to make sure everyone who wants to be in the zine is represented. Too many pieces or too large of a submission may be hard to make fit everyone (and keep the Zine a reasonable size), so keep this in mind when submitting multiple things.
Thanks to everyone who has shown interest, and to people who have submitted things already. There is two weeks left in the window of submission time, so tell your friends and get people interested! Things are shaping up to make this a great zine, I can't wait to see what people continue to submit.

The birth of a new Collaboraitve Zine!
Welcome to the MANY ANY ALL Zine blog! You can come here to find out info on new projects/themes for new issues, as well as find out more general info about the happenings with this brand new zine. This, along with the created Facebook page (link is also on the sidebar), will be a hub for information regarding this zine project.
To start off, I'd like to thank you for showing interest in this zine. This project has been one I have been thinking about for a while, and I am very happy to be finally implementing it and unleashing it out into the world. I hope to create something inspiring and fun with my local community, so here's to a new and exciting venture! I hope that you (the community) will show as much enthusiasm as I have for the project and submit your work.
As time goes on, I will update people on more details of the zine. At the moment all that is going on is an open call for submissions for the first issue. Things are being hammered out, and as people start to show interest things will take form. In the end, we will have a curated, well put together compilation that will be a great example of the creativity surrounding Portland. I hope that you spread the word and help me get as many people involved in this as possible.
So...Here we go! This is the birth of a new Zine in the Portland ME arts community- MANY ANY ALL is now taking submissions starting today. The current theme for this issue coming up is "Unnoticed". If you would like to submit work, email manyanyall@gmail.com to find out how! SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY THE END OF FEBUARY.
